ARRA Logo

The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act is an unprecedented effort to jumpstart our economy, save and create millions of jobs, and put a down payment on addressing long-neglected challenges so our country can thrive in the 21st century. It is also an unprecedented national investment in rural health.

This webpage is for California’s rural communities to capitalize on the opportunities available to them through the ARRA, so they can continue to ensure the good health of their community.  The ARRA offers a short timeline, so please be aware of deadlines, and utilize the contacts provided in the Rural Health Funding Matrix for any needed technical assistance.  Thank you for all the essential services you provide to over five million California rural residents.
