The goal of CSRHA through our advocacy efforts is to influence policy and promote a systems change approach for the improvement of rural California.

CSRHA has developed a set of advocacy priorities that will guide its advocacy efforts in 2011 building off of the successes in 2010. These priorities recognize that rural communities face unique barriers in regards to healthcare access and overall health and wellbeing, and that those barriers are rooted in broader infrastructure deficiencies. Therefore, CSRHA supports policies and efforts that will improve healthcare access and service delivery as well as prevention-oriented health promotion efforts. In 2011, CSRHA will focus specifically on issues of: Funding, Technology, Workforce and Community Health.
