Governor Has Just Signed USDA Loan and Loan Guarantee Bill, AB 2731

We have just learned that Governor Schwarzenegger has signed into law the CSRHA backed USDA loan and loan guarantee bill, AB 2731, by Assembly Member Juan Arambula. AB 2731 is now Chapter 49 of 2010.

Signing of this bill corrects California state law and will make it easier, more cost effective and less burdensome for health care districts to use federal financing available through the USDA's Community Facilities program. This bill helps rural health care districts maintain financial sustainability, thereby ensuring that residents in rural communities retain access to much-needed medical care.
