Hello, my name is Maria Nancy Banuelos. It is an honor to serve as a Board Member for California State Rural Health Association. I have 20 years experience in Community Health Care Centers providing direct and indirect care to the underserved. My nursing background has allowed me to work closely with individuals seeking to make changes in the manner in which they care for themselves and/or others. I have a personal responsibility to continue working in the health care arena where our clients are faced with the challenge of accessing specialty services which will have an impact in their health and of their family.

I love my job and am very proud to be part of Family HealthCare Network where daily we strive to “provide quality healthcare to everyone in the communities we serve.” I try to be a role model to my staff by teaching and working along with them. Most important, I try to influence them by sharing my personal experience and how I was able to overcome obstacles in my life as it relates to an education and success. I truly feel that my successes have been obtained because of the support from my husband and family, from the passion I have acquired for providing care to the indigent and underserved and for those individuals who have believed in me.
