Deborah Riordan PT, MPH |
Deborah Riordan is a health program consultant with a background in health policy and cancer epidemiology. Her current project involves developing an integrated health literacy program for Reading and Beyond, a non-profit Family Resource Center. She is also involved in a number of community organizations. Her community activities include Board President for the Fresno Center for New Americans, Board Member for the Fresno Works for Better Health Advocacy Center, Steering Committee Member for the West Fresno Asset Map Project and Guild Secretary for the La Visionaria Guild of Children’s Hospital Central California.
Deborah is currently the CSRHA’s President-elect. She is also Chair of the Membership Committee and a committee member for the Board Development and Conference Steering Committees.
Riordan has worked as a health policy analyst for the Central Valley Health Policy Institute and as a Research Associate for the Cancer Registry of Central California. She has published 13 scholarly articles in peer-reviewed publications and co-authored a number of policy briefs and reports on health issues in the Central Valley.
