Hello my name is Yvonne Bell and my work experience is in health care administration, where I am the Chief Executive Officer for Clinicas de Salud del Pueblo, Inc., a large community/migrant health care organization (7 clinics) that serves the frontier and rural populations of Imperial and Riverside County. I started my career in 1979 working for a community health center located in my home town of Buttonwillow, CA. I have had the pleasure of working for numerous community health centers with superior reputations such as Clinica Sierra Vista in Bakersfield, CA; Sixteenth Street Community Health Center in Milwaukee, WI, and National Health Services, in Buttonwillow, CA. I live in El Centro which is located in the rural desert, in the south east corner of California and adjacent to the California/Mexican Border

My educational background includes my undergraduate studies being conducted at Alverno College in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and then transferring to the University of Phoenix, where I received my Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management. In 2004, I graduated from Regis University with a Masters in Business Administration.

I am a member of the Board of Directors for the Council of Community Clinics for San Diego/Imperial County; Board of Director for the Imperial County Health Care Organization; Committee Member for the Western Region Committee for the March of Dimes and member of the California State Rural Health Association and California Primary Care Association.

I am married to Bobby who is retired and I have three children: one daughter Melanie, who is age 29 and works for the March of Dimes in Ohio. Two sons: Ryan age 20 who is attending a local Community College and Eric who is 14 years old and who keeps me busy with his sport activities.

My work and personal life is committed to advocating for, protecting, and advancing the health and rights of people that reside in rural communities that are indigent and underserved. I feel very fortunate and blessed to lead a community health care organization that does provide quality health care in a culturally sensitive manner to such a population.
