Introducing our Keynote Speaker, Mr. Martin C. Helldorfer!

Martin C. Helldorfer, the primary author of Healing with Heart: Inspirations for Healthcare Professionals, lived for 30 years as a Catholic monk, and when he re-emerged into the world, he studied psychology and put his knowledge to work in private practice for over 20 years. He has served as the director of outpatient care and the resident psychologist at a prominent residential treatment center as well as a psychologist for Saint John Vianney Hospital in Philadelphia. He currently holds the position of Senior Vice President of Mission for Exempla Healthcare, where he guides the organization's goal of fostering healing for everyone entrusted to its care. His experiences at Exempla have fueled and formed the basis of his writing for Healing with Heart. His life experiences have given him selfless discipline, the deep conviction that we are put on this earth to help others and the talent to inspire others through his writing and lectures. CSRHA is thrilled to have him join our extended rural health community as the Keynote Speaker for this year's Annual Rural Health Conference.
