| Shhh! 2008 Silent Auction Donation Request
CSRHA is pleased to announce the 2008 Silent Auction and invite you to join in making this auction even more successful than our previous auctions. The Silent Auction is scheduled on December 1-2 during the 8th Annual Rural Health Conference titled Rural Self-Reliance: Empowering People.
This year, our silent auction goal is to raise $5,000. We will look to increase the participation of companies and organizations throughout California this year, in order to increase recognition of rural communities and publicize the accomplishments of CSRHA and our affiliates. Members, friends, affiliate organizations, sponsors, exhibitors, and anyone interested in making a donation are encouraged to do so. The most popular silent auction items from past years have included wine baskets, original artwork, handmade crafts, and tickets to popular events. Other excellent items include travel packages and gift certificates to major department stores or restaurants, sports memorabilia and electronic products.
The silent auction will be held on December 1, 2008 from 5:00-7:30pm accompanied by a President’s Reception, and on December 2, 2008 from 7:30am- 3:15pm. The announcement of the silent auction recipients will be made on Wednesday, December 3 during our Governmental Affairs Update Luncheon.
To make a donation please fill out the silent auction form, and e-mail the form to smeans@csrha.org or fax to (916) 453- 0783 by November 19, 2008. Donation items can either be sent to the California State Rural Health Association main office by November 19, 2008 or can be brought to the conference registration table on December 1, 2008 by 1:00pm.
