2009-10 Member-Get-A-Member Campaign
You understand the value of your membership and its importance in supporting the unique role CSRHA plays as the ONLY statewide association advocating specifically and exclusively for health improvements in rural California. Now we need your help to spread the word!
Benefits for recruiters:
- For every member you recruit, CSRHA will issue you a $20 credit which can be used towards
your next membership renewal dues or conference and other registration fees.
- All members who recruit a member will be entered into a drawing at the end of the campaign to receive a $250 Visa Gift Certificate!
- All recruiters will be recognized in the June 2010 edition of The Rural Health Advocate

Campaign Guidelines:
- The Campaign begins on October 1, 2009 and ends on May 31, 2010.
- Members can recruit an unlimited number of new members and accumulate a $20 credit for each one.
- At the end of the campaign all recruiters will be entered into a drawing to receive a $250 Visa Gift.
Certificate. This winner will be announced in the June, 2010 edition of the Rural Heath Advocate.
- Only current CSRHA members are eligible to receive the credits.
- Credits will expire June 30, 2011.
- CSRHA credits are nontransferable and must be used by the current member within the current membership term. If current membership expires, without being renewed, all CSRHA credits will be voided.
- Remember, it is essential that your recruits include your name in the "referred by" section of the membership application in order to recieve the credit

Tips for recruiting new members:
Inviting your colleagues to join CSRHA is easy. Here are some ideas.
- Familiarize yourself with all the benefits CSRHA Offers
Be familiar with CSRHA, our benefits and our website. The website has member benefits listed, publications, upcoming events, advocacy alerts, downloadable presentations and much more. Email the link to the CSRHA homepage to your colleagues so they can be familiar with our organization. Upon request CSRHA will send you membership brochures to help with your recruitment
- Identify colleagues who could benefit from CSRHA Membership
Check the CSRHA membership list and help us identify those who should be included in our membership. For a copy of the membership list, contact CSRHA Administrative Assistant, Brittney Gehrig.
- Share your experience with CSRHA
One of the best ways to recruit new members members it to share stories about how your membershiop with CSRHA has contributed to your profession or organization. What do you value about being a CSRHA member?
- Provide the CSRHA Membership Application
Feel free to use this template email and send to everyone you would like to introduce to CSRHA membership. Included in the email is a is a link to the online membership application. If you prefer to send your own email be sure to link them to the online application at https://sslws037.alentus.com/csrha/newmembershipapplication.aspx.
- Follow up
Follow up with your colleague to see if they have any additional questions. Remind them of any upcoming events coming up hosted by CSRHA.
- Send a thank you
When your colleague joins our community, send a quick thank you note. We will do the same!
