Save the Date! Partnering for Success: When: Tuesday, May 12, 2009 Time: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Where: Radisson Hotel Sacramento The Healthcare Workforce Coalition, a project of the California Hospital Association (CHA), invites you to attend a one-day event in Sacramento focused on partnerships for educating and training allied health care professionals in California. This event is being sponsored by The California Endowment and promises to provide attendees with an interactive opportunity to learn about innovative models for partnership that have proven successful in increasing the supply and diversity of allied health professionals. Regional Round Tables will allow participants to come together to discuss regional barriers for the purpose of identifying potential partnerships that can address a regional need. Invitees include CHA members, as well as various other stakeholders, including representatives from the University of California, California State University, California Community Colleges, Connecting the Dots Initiative, Campaign for College Opportunity, Office of Statewide Health Planning and Development, Labor and Workforce Development Agency, state legislators and their staff, business leaders and others.
