California State Office of Rural Health presents "ARRA Impacts on HIPPA Requirements" Webinar

The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (the “Stimulus Bill”) has added new HIPAA requirements. These will affect many policies and procedures and require in some cases, new forms. This webinar will review the key points and provide practical steps to update your compliance program.

The upcoming workshop will be hosted by Arizona WorldVistA Network (AZWVN) at the The Westin Kierland Resort & Spa in Scottsdale, Arizona.
The goals of this vendor neutra, hands-on workshop are:

1. Guidance in developing an EHR adoption strategy
2. Sharing key ingredients of success for EHR implementation including:

Participants planning to attend should meet the following criteria:

  • HRSA-funded grantees from regions IX and X.
  • Planning to implement an EHR in 6 -12 months.
  • Part of a new or existing network, or considering joining a network.
  • Implementation teams that want to improve their efficiencies and hardwire quality into their processes.
