Join your statewide rural health advocacy organization as we make congressional visits with California's representatives in Washington D.C. Don't miss the chance to meet with key congressional members, members of the Obama Administration, and national health care experts at the 21st Annual Rural Health Policy Institute.
Health reform, the most significant legislation in decades, will dramatically change the delivery of health care in rural America. Learn how you and your facility will be impacted by new legislation, how you can insure health reform works for rural patients and providers, and how to effectively advocate at the national level on behalf of rural health.Your involvement is needed to secure a strong representation of California's rural communities on Capitol Hill.
Capitol Hill visits will be scheduled for Tuesday,January 26, 2010 from 11:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. CSRHA is coordinating a delegation of rural stakeholders to visit with congressional representatives.
If you are interested in participating in the California delegation, email Shannon Means. Prior to the meetings, the CSRHA delegation will meet to discuss key talking points and the message delivery strategy.
