There are less than 2 weeks left until the Rural Roudtable, RSVP now! This meeting is FREE to all CSRHA members! The purpose of the Roundtable is to serve as an opportunity for community leaders to engage in a solution based dialogue with other community leaders on regional, state and national health related issues. This Roundtable will be an important, educational and interactive meeting with the most up-to-date information available. This will be a meeting you will not want to miss! CSRHA in partnership with Mountain Health and Community Services, Inc. will be hosting this Rural Roundtable March 12, 2010 from 9:00am-2:00pm in San Diego, CA. The Roundtable will be held at the University of San Diego, in the Hahn University Center, Room 107. This Roundtable is being sponsored by 501 (c) Agencies Trust, a Silver Level Sponsor of CSRHA.

The Roundtable is FREE for all CSRHA members. For non-CSRHA members the cost to attend the Roundtable is $30. CSRHA strongly encourages anyone who isn't a member to become a member of CSRHA. To learn more about membership please click here. To RSVP for the meeting please contact Shannon Means.

9:00 – 9:15a	Welcome and Introductions
9:15 - 10:00a	Open Floor – A facilitated open discussion between local participants as they identify what issues are important to their region
10:00 - 10:30a	Prioritizing local issues for this afternoon’s Roundtable Work Session
10:30 – 11:40a	Key Issues Updates and Feedback Health Information Technology – What is going on with this issue – Statewide, Locally – Priority HIT issues important to local providers and patients Workforce – What is going on with this issue – Statewide, Locally – Priority Workforce issues important to local providers and patients State Budget – What is going on with this issue – Statewide and impact on local programs – Priority state budget issues important to the San Diego and southern CA region
11:40 – 12:00a	Setting the stage for this afternoon planning work sessions – Explaining the goal of the afternoon work session and how we will organize ourselves for the afternoon workgroup session
12:00 - 12:15p	501 (c) Agencies Trust Presentation, Ellen Johnson (Rural Roundtable Sponsor)
12:15 - 1:00p	Lunch
1:00 - 2:00p	Roundtable workgroup sessions – With the help of the meeting facilitator, the participants will self select a work group and topic they want to focus on during the afternoon. The work groups are based on issue priorities identified in the morning. Each workgroup will carry out the following two steps separately: Clarify the issue or issues into a sentence or statement Identify objectives that need to be attended to in 2010 to address each specific issue, including what is being done locally, if anything on the issue. Workgroup report out and whole group discussion, focused on what is being done on the issue and next steps, including CSRHA’s role and responsibilities

Advocacy and Board Meeting:

CSRHA will be holding its Advocacy Committee Meeting and Board of Directors Meeting on March 11, 2010 at the University of San Diego in room AB of the Kroc Institute for Peace and Justice. The Advocacy Committee Meeting will be from 10:00am-12:00pm followed by the CSRHA Board of Directors Meeting from 1:00pm-4:00pm. CSRHA welcomes any CSRHA members to come and participate in these meetings and learn about the 2010 priorities of the organization.
