CSRHA is currently working on developing a Resource Guide. The resource guide will be a document that captures information useful for CSRHA members, members of the press, policymakers and their staff, and the general public seeking information about specific rural health issues. The resource guide will continue to grow and will be updated over time to include new issue categories, new and emerging issue information and updated expert individual or organization contact information – it is not a document that we create one time and then place on the shelf.

The resource guide will be structured to make it easy for the user to find a particular issue category, sub-issue in that issue category, and experts and/or organizations working in and knowledgeable about the issue. The information contained in each entry will contain at a minimum:

• The issue category and specific sub-categories
• A list of expert sources of information including both individual(s) or organization(s)
• Contact information such as, phone number, address, email, and web-site address
• Cites of any report, relevant published paper or other document on the topic
• Current activities the information source is involved in pertaining to that issue
